If you're like me you will use the Facebook chat feature of MessengerDiscovery more than Windows Live Messenger. However, the team at Facebok have made a few changes to the way Facebook chat works, breaking your favourite Windows Live Messenger addon. This will cause you to run into a few errors while signing into Facebook chat. For this reason I have updated MessengerDiscovery 2.1 to fix these problems.

You can download it from:
http://msgdiscovery.com/download/

This is not an important update if you do not use the Facebook chat feature. However, autoupdate will ask you to update in the coming week.

Sorry for any problems caused,
Matt.

Great, quickly fixed as usual :).
Question, do you really have to release a new update every time the Facebook team changes the way Facebook chat works?

I suggest some kind of way to send out quick fixes for this kind of thing. Move everything related to FB Chat into a single DLL file, and offer a way to let MD automatically download the new version of that file, without having to download and install MD as a whole.

Then again, this could very well be impossible, I'm not a programmer :P.

Also, excuse me if you don't get what I'm saying, I'm sick and I can't think straight.

Thanks for the update and try to make a new system to sign into facebook in MD 2.2 (or what else) if these errors will happen again.

C:\Program Files (x86)\MessengerDiscovery 2\FacebookChat.dll :) the updater will only upfate this file ;). In v3 the latest DLL will be downloaded upon starting MD.

Awesome, that'll work a lot better than having to install a new version every time Facebook decides to break MD again :P.

Hi! When I'm on messenger discovery, I like to watch both my msn contacts and fb contacts.
But it's not that much space, so wouldn't it have been better if you could have had msn and fb contacts side by side?
just saying...

love the program ;)

Hi! Thanks for the update! Not that I use the Facebook plugin a lot, but i got annoyed by these errors all the time (A)
Anyway, is there a possibility to add the chat function from other communitysites like the Dutch www.Hyves.nl which is my favourite?
If so, you could implement pretty much any chat-protocol, which is ought to become pretty much the best feature ever to have existed for Windows Live!
